Whangapoua is situated on the Coromandel Peninsula of New Zealand. It is situated 25 minutes drive over the Coromandel Range from Coromandel along the northeastern coastline providing white sandy beaches New Chums Beach, Matarangi, Kuaotunu Beach and Otama Beach.
