Pure NZ Prints were lucky enough to have great weather on a fabulous Queens Birthday weekend
Here is a P40 KITTY HAWK aircraft at the New Zealand Warbirds at Ardmore D Day 75 event on 2nd June 2019.
The Kitty Hawk was a fighter / bomber aircraft powered by an Allison V12 engine, capable to 586km per hour with a range of 1500km.
A total of 297 P40’s served in the Royal New Zealand Airforce from 1942 through to 1948 and were widely used by allied forces during World War Two.
